You'll build the systems behind our clients' websites, stores and apps: clean, well-tested PHP and APIs that stay fast as traffic grows.
What you'll do
- Write clean, well-designed and fast PHP to a high standard
- Design, build and document APIs
- Keep applications fast, reliable and responsive
- Connect front-end work to server-side logic
- Find and fix bugs, and keep the codebase tidy
- Break down client problems into workable solutions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of PHP experience
- Laravel (or another MVC framework such as CakePHP)
- API design and third-party API integration
- Git, with good branching, merging and pull-request habits
- Experience with high-traffic, scalable systems
- Agile team experience
Nice to have
- ReactJS experience
- Server and hosting knowledge (Linux, cPanel/WHM)
